McGard outboard locks are designed to lock the bolt that holds the outboard motor onto the boats transom. Simply replace one of the mounting nuts with a McGard locking nut. McGard outboard motor locks are identical in quality and construction to the stern drive locks. A free-spinning collar turns if attached by gripping tools, protecting against costly outboard motor theft. Clam packed. No. 2574036 fits Mercury/Mariner 40hp and up. No. 2574037 fits Yamaha 50hp and up and Honda 40hp and up. No. 2574049 fits Honda 8-15hp, J/E 6-30hp, Mercury/Mariner 8-25hp, Nissan 2.5-30hp, Suzuki 8-30hp, Tohatsu 2.5-30hp and Yamaha 9.9-40hp. No. 2574054 fits Nissan 40hp and up, Suzuki 40hp and up, Tohatsu 40hp and up, Johnson/Evinrude 40hp and up (4-stroke).
