The Bottom Line: Tecnifibre Synthetic Gut is a single wrapped monofilament string that offers a little more pop than other synthetic gut strings. Although there is no spin-enhancing design, or power infused composition, Tecnifibre Synthetic Gut lets you do your thing and play your game. It offers a very true feel whether you want to flatten the ball out and take it up the line, or put some heavy spin on it and wear your opponents down. Although it is not one of the most durable strings on the market, it has a great value. Advantage: you. From the ground, I had great feel on the ball with access to power, spin, flat shots, angles and slice. I was able to play my game and even utilize some back-up strategies to throw my opponent off or play more to his weaknesses as needed. My volleys were sharp and went exactly where I needed them to go point after point. My serves had tremendous accuracy and with an open string pattern, I was able to put a good amount of kick, slice or power behind my serves.
