Because my ceilings are so low in my basement, I was looking for an alternative to the jump rope (which is an incredibly good cardio workout.) I purchased these after I saw them in a fitness magazine and I have been using them almost every day as an addition to my regular home workouts. My HR is through the roof and I can definitely feel the burn. Love this product and highly recommend them for folks who have the same problem with a low ceiling!

Jump rope is an excellent form of exercise. I recommend jump rope to my clients because you can do it virtually any where, especially with the Airope. The Airope handles rotate smoothly and the action is similar to using a traditional jump rope.I have trained extensively with a jump rope and therefore consider myself to be fair judge of the Airope feel. The movement is not as close to the real thing as I'd like it to be however considering the advantage of having the shorter length it is a reasonable trade off.My recommendation is that if you can make a traditional jump rope work in the space you have available, go with the real thing. If space, especially ceiling height is a concern the Airope is a decent alternative.

I actually worked out with the Airope Pro in my Bootcamp class, and the workout was intense. So I decided to get them for myself to keep up at home, and they do not disappoint! There are instructions on various ways that you can use them for a great cardio workout. You can also use them for core training, by balancing on one leg. This is a great and inexpensive product that can be used to make your workout different. Would recommend to definitely purchase it!!
