I love this jump rope. I used to use this brand when I was in elementary school during recess. I was not a major sporty type, but got plenty of exercise with these every day.I just bought one for my daughter! It was the 7 foot long one, and at 4 years old, it was too long for her. I was able to untie it, take off some plastic pieces, and tie it back together under the handle. I had to trim with scissors the rope because it was sticking out of the handle.I tried this jump rope recently myself to see if it was as good as I remembered it. And it was! It makes a nice little clacky sound when it hits the pavement. And the plastic pieces all along it ensure that it will never coil up like a twine rope and not let you jump over it. The pieces are light, but heavy enough that they use the physical motion of your arms to pull the whole line out straight when you are jumping every time.I love this one! I am going to buy one for myself!I am 5'2, and the 7 foot one was definitely big enough for me.
